In hockey there is a shot called the lacrosse style shot or the Mike Legg shot (video below). This shot is when a player basically picks the puck on their stick and wraps the shot around for a goal. The players must get a high enough centripetal velocity and centripetal acceleration so that puck is able to stay on the stick. The player rotates the shot around from the back of the goal to in front. The centripetal velocity is generated from the rotational force. The player would get better torque and from a longer stick because the torque arm would be greater and the perpendicular force would remain the same.

In this in the a car runs into a ditch before construction on the road is finish. This is because of the cars centripetal force making it go around the corner too strong and into the ditch. The car was going too fast and missed the turn and went into the ditch. After construction this will be safer because that ditch will not be there allowing for more room for error in the turning.
I feel that the test was very challenging. Not impossible but it really tested my understanding of kinematics. The test was harder than I expected. I thought it was going to be like the practice test but it was harder. Some questions were not challenging but others I spent a lot of time on. I was very stressed going into the first test and this could have cause myself to over think and forget some of the stuff. I thought the basic questions with the position, velocity, and acceleration vs time graphs were the easiest because we have done them the most. To study besides doing my content page I watch a lot of videos. Some of these I could not upload on to the website because the file was too large. I watched videos mainly on kinematics in sports because I like to watch sports so it was reaching my interests. I watched videos over reading because with videos I stay focused easier so they help me more. I felt really prepared going into the test but after I was a little shocked at how hard it was. Some of the questions were just a pure guess and some I knew very well. It is hard to take a guess on how I did but I hope what I studied was enough to get a decent grade on the test.
Three weeks into the Physics school and I would say it is going more than good. I have said that my favorite thing about physics and the reason I decided to take AP physics is because I enjoy labs and experiments. We have already done 2 experiments and both were challenging but let me explore my curiosity. I am a hands-on learner so experiments help me learn best. The idea to make this website was a great idea but I can say confidently that making the notes page on this site helped me with the quiz. I definitely feel like I am being challenge but not over worked which I think is the best possible way to learn. I am very happy with where I am in physics and hope it continues to get better.
